Compost Made From Your Food Scraps
Compost is made from your food scraps in Camp Washington by The Common Orchard Project, one of our partner farms.
The quality of the compost was excellent. My tomatoes, peppers, and herbs loved it and grew so much better than last year. We've been loving the bountiful harvest!

Interested in ordering more compost? Compost is available for purchase by the public in bags or in bulk through the Common Orchard Project’s website.
Giveback Periods
Households using our drop-off program will have the option to receive their free bag of compost either in the spring or the fall, during designated giveback times.
We will notify active drop-off households via MakeSoil and our newsletter when the compost giveback period opens.
Our spring giveback usually happens in April-May.
Our fall giveback usually happens in October-November.
